Established in 1996, we employ 1600 people across the 3 sites at our facilities in Olesnica and manage over 90 production lines. We’ve invested heavily in developing our state-of-the-art engineering centre and in recent years have completely transformed our forging and production facilities to ensure our teams have the tools and resources they need to succeed and thrive in our environment.

This site represents an important regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base and has been recognised via various external awards for excellence and innovation.

Our culture is open and collaborative, and employees regularly have an opportunity to engage with leaders, provide ideas and work to develop these to become a reality. It’s a place where our multi-discipline team’s partner, collaborate, and learn from each other.

Career development is supported by relevant, sponsored technical training, coaching, and access to self-driven training across a wide range of topics covering hard and soft skills. We take pride in the development of our people, supporting them to achieve their goals. Over 40% of our leadership team have progressed from operational delivery roles and 10% of our employees are now in global positions supporting the wider organization.

We also support our employees to give back to the local communities through the GeKoN programme. In recent years we have sponsored and supported various initiatives from training rescue skills in the local communities, to rennivating schools making time and resources available to collaborate on these important events.
